Cannot reuse email

i have deleted my bitwarden account and want to re create it on a self hosting environment. When i try that it says the email account is in use already. But the original account is gone i cannot log into it. Why does this happen. It is very annoying.

I believe the only way you can circumvent this is by resetting your main account.

However, you said that you’ve deleted your account before doing it, right?

I’m not quite sure, but there should be an estimate time for the account to be deleted (for safety/privacy reasons), so after that period, you should be fine to get access to it again from scratch.

Otherwise, try reaching the staff via email explaining your issue in details. That’s probably the best way to do it.
