Cannot access premium features - already paying for premium family plan - Org deleted

New user here trying to set up things for two person family. I got confused about Organization management and deleted my default Organization :grimacing:

I created a new one, but now it appears that I cannot access any Family Plan premium features.

I bought the yearly family plan subscription last month. When I login to the customer portal I see this:

Password Manager - Families Plan
$40.00 per year
Your subscription will be canceled on January 26, 2026.

However, when I login to the password manager at https://vault.bitwarden.com
I see this banner at top of screen:

Upgrade your account to a Premium membership and unlock some great additional features. [Go Premium](Bitwarden Web vault

What URL are you using for that?

I would reach out to customer support. This sounds like they may need to reattach your plan to your vault.

Or OP may be using an MSP. As @Nail1684 alluded, Bitwarden doesn’t have a “customer portal” that is distinct from the Web Vault.

Your family organization paid plan is attached to the organization you paid it for, not to your bitwarden account.

If you deleted that organization and later created a new one, you will need to ask support to reattach your (now disconnected) paid plan to the new organization (been there myself a couple of months ago with a test account+org I used to have).
