Bitwarden iPhone won't sync/update

I am running the bitwarden client on a Windows laptop and I removed a bunch of passwords and accounts that are no longer valid. However it has been more than 48hours and the bitwarden iPhone app still isn’t in sync. I have done a manual sync, and I have set sync on pull down and done this dozens of times but I still see entries on the phone which I deleted from my bitwarden on the desktop.

Furthermore I changed a password for a grocery store today and saved it in Bitwarden. The password when I open bitwarden on the desktop is correct and works fine. The password on the iPhone however is still the old one and has not updated. This means it’s kinda useless for me if it doesn’t sync.

I am logging in as the same user each time. I have tried this on wifi and on LTE but nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also have bitwarden installed on an android phone and that one works perfectly. If I change a password on the desktop, the android client syncs. The iPhone one does not.

Is the “Last sync” datetime updating when you do a sync ?

Hi @DoctorB thanks for your reply, I just checked and no, it is not updating.
Several times when I hit the Sync now button it says “an error has occured” but other times it just says “Syncing…” with the spinning flower and then goes back to the settings menu but no the date is not updating. I will try re-installing it as it’s the same on either wifi or 5g and wether i restart the phone makes no difference
