What is the procedure for adding new users to your family plan?

I’ve contacted support, and I have the license for a family plan, I also purchased premium for my own account because I need to use attachments. How do I add 4 other users onto my family account?

Do I simply make 4 new free BitWarden accounts for my family and add them to a “collection” I have to start sharing? Is there anything else needed?

So you have your account.

You should have an “Organization” for your family.

Log on to your web vault and click th organization (mine was on the right).

Select the “manage” tab.

There you should be able to invite users by email address, and they can create their own free accounts from there.

I can’t find this info either. Does family members sign up for a free account then it upgraded?

You can add users to your Family Organization whether they already have an account with Bitwarden or not! When they receive the invitation, they will be prompted to either Log In or Create Account. Either choice will tie that account to your Family Organization and grant them their premium benefits.

I have done those steps but the other member is not showing as premium?
is there an extra step?

Ask that member to log out and back in.
