Hello. I get the error that the Bitwarden Password Manager plugin may be corrupt. Even if I click the repair option, the same error occurs again. I asked ChatGPT but the steps they gave me didn’t work. I deleted and reinstalled, cleaned up %appdata% remaining files, clicked the repair option but none of these worked. What should I do?
Since I can’t edit the topic, I’m sending it as a message. I use the Brave browser. I don’t have this problem with other browsers. I deleted and reinstalled Brave, but it didn’t work. Should I ask Brave support about this issue, or do you have a solution?
@Kurashina Welcome to the forum!
I think, you are experiencing this bug:

### Steps To Reproduce
1. Install macOS 15.4 on a MacBook with Turkish as the d… efault system language.
2. Install Brave or Chrome browser (possibly affects other Chromium-based browsers as well).
3. Try to install the Bitwarden extension from the Chrome Web Store.
4. Observe the error: "Extension may have been corrupted".
### Expected Result
The extension should install and function properly regardless of the system language.
### Actual Result
Instead of installing successfully, the extension fails to install and shows the error:
"Extension may have been corrupted."
### Screenshots or Videos

### Additional Context
When I installed macOS 15.4 with Turkish as the system language on a MacBook, I encountered the "Extension may have been corrupted" error when trying to install the Bitwarden extension on both Brave and Chrome (this might also affect other Chromium-based browsers).
Later, I tried doing a clean install of macOS 15.4 again, but this time I selected English as the default language during setup. After that, the issue was resolved and the extension installed successfully.
Interestingly, if I change the system language to English, install the extension, and then switch back to Turkish, the extension continues to work.
Because of this behavior, I believe the issue is related to macOS 15.4 and how it handles Chromium-based extensions in non-English system languages — particularly Turkish.

### Issue Tracking Info
- [x] I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.
You can add your voice to that GitHub issue, if you want to.

Thanks for the solution. Bitwarden officials should solve this. Why can’t I install the extension in my language? Isn’t it ridiculous? I hope the officials solve this situation as soon as possible. Thanks again
@Kurashina As much as I can understand your frustration with that current limitation, please remember that usually nobody intends to implement bugs .
Also, have a look at these new comments on GitHub , regarding the issue.
