Hello,
I’m trying to update Bitwarden, but I keep getting the same error on every boot.

Who can help me out?
Uninstall Bitwarden, reboot, reinstall Bitwarden. Issue solved.
To get answers faster try the search function inside this forum:
Windows client repeats update message every time I log in to Windows. I think it’s version 1.32.0 something. WTF. Why doesn’t this update progress and install so the messages (that have been going on for several weeks now, at least) will stop? Troubling when a security-related program starts acting like a mindless robot.
I’m having this behavior on multiple computers, so I fully expected to search and find other experiences. But I’m not seeing it.
After Windows startup (Win10 21H2, on two computers), when Bitwarden loads, it pops up a “restart to update” message as if it’s sensed and available upgrade. Perhaps it has. However, clicking Restart does not download or install anything, and the program just restarts again without the message.
Here’s the About info:
Version 1.33.0
Shell 16.1.0
Renderer 96.0.46…
Each time I open Biwarden, it is not asking for 2FA and gives me this message:
“Restart to update version 1.33.0” is ready to install. You must restart the application to complete the installation. Do you want to restart and update now?"
I run the ‘‘restart’’ to open the program on my PC and then asks for a Master Password but doesn’t ask for 2FA.
Thanks for any help…

Thank you! Not sure how the search function here exactly works.
You select the magnifier symbol at the top, then you enter a few keywords that are related to your problem. Next you select “Search” and after that you take a look at the results. If no result matches your problem try less keywords or more common ones. If instead you get too many results be more specific.
