Hi,
I know that this is supposedly synchronized every 30 minutes.
FYI, Live Sync is only available for individual vaults; organization vaults are synced on a 30-min schedule .
But that is never the case. I had to synchronize every single client manually.
Why is this the case with the items in the organization?
Greetings

Hey @mutilator the team would need more information to look into your report. Please let us know if you’ve already opened a bug report, or contacted the support team with device/os/version and steps to reproduce.

@dwbit @mutilator There is a possibly related bug report here:
opened 02:41AM - 25 Jun 25 UTC
bug
browser
### Steps To Reproduce
1. Be an organization member (tested as owner/admin and … sole member).
2. Open and unlock browser extension.
3. Ensure that the vault timeout is longer than 30 min (tested using "Never").
4. "Pop out" the extension window.
5. Go to Vault view, and set vault filter to show organization vault only.
6. From Web Vault Admin Console, delete the organization.
7. After 35 min (longer than the [30-min automatic sync interval](https://bitwarden.com/help/vault-sync/#automatic-sync)), observe the Vault view in the popped-out browser extension.
8. In the browser extension, go to Generator view, and then go back to the Vault view.
9. In the browser extension, go to **Settings > Vault** and click "Sync vault now".
### Expected Result
* At **Step 7**, expect the Vault view to have been refreshed, no longer showing any of the deleted organization items.
* At **Step 8**, expect the Vault view to have been refreshed, no longer showing any of the deleted organization items (and no longer showing the Vault and Collection filters).
* At **Step 9**, expect a successful sync, after which the Vault view should have been refreshed, no longer showing any of the deleted organization items (and no longer showing the Vault and Collection filters).
### Actual Result
* At **Step 7**, the Vault view still displays a list of the deleted organization items, and still shows the Vault and Collection filters. The filters are not functional (e.g., changing the Collection filter has no effect, and changing the Vault filter from the organization vault to "My Vault" has no effect).
* At **Step 8**, the Vault view only displays a spinner. The DevTools console shows an error message "Unhandled error in angular Error: Attempting to use a disconnected port object".
* At **Step 9**, a synchronization error occurs. The DevTools console shows an error message "ForegroundSyncService did not receive a message back in a reasonable time."

### Additional Context
Additional observations:
* After the sync errors occurred in **Step 9**, it was impossible to navigate away from the **Settings > Vault** view; this resulted in an error message pop-up in the UI, accompanied by a DevTools console error ("Async action exception: Error: Attempting to use a disconnected port object").
* After approximately 55 min (i.e., while writing this report), it was possible to successfully sync (i.e., clicking "Sync vault now" resulted in the success notification "Syncing complete", accompanied by an updated sync timestamp); however, it was still not possible to navigate away from the **Settings > Vault** view.
* There is also a similar (probably related) sync failure in the Desktop app (2025.5.1). If the Desktop app is opened at the same time that **Step 2** is completed, the deleted organization items remain visible even 1 hour (or longer) after the organization was deleted in **Step 6**; the deleted organization items can be viewed, but saving any edits results in the error message "An error has occurred: Resource not found".

### Issue Tracking Info
- [x] I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.
@mutilator Just to also check the basics: neither one of your devices have a “mismatch in timestamp” - and you don’t use a VPN (or ad blocker)? (–> Sync your Vault | Bitwarden )
iOS: 2025.6.0
Browser: 2025.6.1
iOS: 18.5
Windows: 10 x64 19045.6159
I deleted an Login Item in the Organization and created it new.
No synchronization. Neither in the app nor in the browser extension. I had to synchronize manually once for each device.
No mismatch and no VPN
