Hi, I have installed Bitwarden desktop app and Firefox extension. I have also saved my email and password details on the Firefox extension.
When I click on “Log in with device” on the Firefox extension, the desktop app will receive a notification that there is a login attempt from Firefox extension. I verify the Fingerprint phrase and click on “Confirm login” on the desktop app and it says “Login confirmed …” When I reopen the Firefox extension, it just gives me another Fingerprint phrase without logging me in.
I read on the forum to reinstall the Firefox extension and have already tried that but it is still not working. How do I resolve this?

The Firefox login/unlock using the icon isn’t particularly reliable when you switch focus to other apps, as the extension’s popup automatically closes (unlike extensions in other browsers).
What you can do is go to the page where you want to log in or open an empty tab. Then, press the Ctrl + Shift + L keys (the autofill shortcut). Firefox will prompt you for authentication in a pop-up window (not attached to the current window). After you authenticate, it will close the window automatically.
So, to unlock or log in, don’t click on the icon; use the Ctrl + Shift + L shortcut instead.
