I’m new to Bitwarden and plan to use it on Ubuntu with the Firefox snap and with the native app (also a snap), and on Android 10, using the app. I managed to import my data from my previous PW manager like charm and to activate 2FA. I can log into https://vault.bitwarden.com without a problem and the Android app also works perfectly, but neither the FF add-on nor the Ubuntu app allow me to log on - I’m getting the old “Username or password is incorrect. Try again.” in both of them. I’ve checked and re-checked often enough to be absolutely sure that I’m using the same credentials as in the other apps. Any ideas?
Just to be sure, you’re using the correct email domain correct? My email (tied to BW) has optional suffixes (.com, .me, etc.) and while equivalent from the standpoint of email delivery, don’t work the same when logging into sites or most likely BW.
Yup; to make sure, I even cp’ed the email from the working log-in to the non-working one, but that didn’t help either.
I have the same problem. Created an account today, imported my list from lastpass, but I can’t sign in on my mobile nor in a 2nd browser. Yes, also checked very carefully the log in info…
Hey all, can you try from a different browser to ensure no interference with captcha? If you have an existing self-hosted instance, please update for compatibility.
I installed Chromium just to try it out; it’s not working either. I didn’t even get to the captcha. On Chromium, it’s the same thing for the browser extension and the vault.
Is it possible that the browser extension no longer works with the free version and self-hosted vaults?
Or that you can only have 2 or 3 sessions here
Hey @anderl can you confirm if you are self hosting and if so have you updated your server?
Sorry for he late reply - had to be away from my computer for a few days. No, I’m not self-hosting, I’m using vanilla bitwarden.com.
