I have disabled Firefox updates. Last update killed Bit Warden and would not permit it to be installed. I had to uninstall FF and download a prior version to restore BW.
Since then I have disabled updates of FF not knowing if an update will just kill necessary extensions again.
Is this an issue with FF or with BW and how do I know a FF Update won’t kill BW app again?

Firefox addons were broken in early May. Firefox team published a blog post here : https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05/04/update-regarding-add-ons-in-firefox/
If you didn’t use your FF at that moment and reopened it later, you might have seen all your extensions been unusable and then FF got the update and your extensions re-worked.
It was an issue regarding how extensions are managed by FF, so not an issue from Bitwarden. You should always keep your browser up to date, otherwise you’d be missing some important security updates.
