Firefox extension locked itself for no reason

Hello,

Sometimes, the Firefox extension locks itself for (apparently) no reason.

It happened to me today: I unlocked the Bitwarden extension soon after starting Firefox, successfully logged into a website, but then, 10 minutes later, when I wanted to log into another website, I noticed the add-on was locked (it asked to “Verify Master Password”). In the settings it is set to lock “On Browser Restart”, but I didn’t restart Firefox.

I’m using Firefox 62.0.3 64-bit on Windows 10. I’ve got 1 other extension installed (and enabled): uBlock Origin.

I noticed that the Bitwarden extension was updated today (according to about:addons). Could that be the reason it locked itself?

Yes, the extension locks itself after an update.
