I don’t like the way this pop up shows every time I focus on a website field.
Since I have never seen this before, I assume it’s new.
Is there a way to disable it?

Go to Settings > Auto-fill, and set the option “Show auto-fill menu on form fields” to “Off”.

This doesn’t work for me in Chromium or Firefox. The 3rd option to only show it when clicking on the icon works. Setting it to Off has no effect. It just shows when focused. And it’s super annoying because it doesn’t care what type of field you click in. I would understand if it defaults to show on username and password fields, but anything else is just breaking the sites.

The issue you are experiencing is a recent bug, which should be fixed in an update that will be released this week.

Has the update been released for this? I’ve been waiting for an update and have not received one, but I continue to experience this issue. It is incredibly annoying and has created issues that prevent entering text where it is needed.

Which browser extension version do you have? The issue I was referring to was a bug that had appeared for self-hosted users, and was fixed in version 2024.10.0. If that’s the version you have installed, have you tried the instructions provided above?
2024.9.1. That’s also what is listed on the Firefox extension page.
And yes, I’ve done all that.
It takes some time for Mozilla to approve new extension releases for the app store.
Is two weeks normal?
