Custom Search Engine for Chrome Extension

Hi,

LastPass has a feature that adds a custom search engine in Google Chrome via their extension. This allows you to search and launch sites by typing “lp” in the address bar and pressing TAB. See screenshots below.

I couldn’t find any info about this for Bitwarden online or in the forum. Is there a way to do this with the Bitwarden Chrome extension?

This is not possible in Bitwarden, and to be honest, it does not seem to be very secure.

However, if you just open the browser extension, you can search for websites there, and then launch by clicking the “launch” icon:
