Bitwarden chrome extension blocked by google family link

I’ve had bitwarden extension installed on chrome (on windows 11). Once I signed with my child account, which has enabled family link control of chrome browser, I am unable to activate extension on this chrome profile.
I can see extension is installed, but clicking on enable switch does nothing.

Now this is suboptimal. I want to have browsing of my child restricted by family link, but I also want it to use bitwarden for password management.

I have found some information that google allows only some specific extensions on chrome os to run How to install Chrome Extensions on your child's Chromebook under Family Link

Is there a how to enable bitwarden extention in my scenario?
Can bitwarden itself do something about it?

Well thanks for the alternatives, but family link does what I expect it to do on pc and android phones.
In this case, I think bitwarden as developer of extension could do something to be allowed in family link.

Somehow, I doubt that will be possible, especially since Google is not likely to approve a direct competitor to Google Password Manager. But if you want to suggest to Bitwarden to take some action, it is probably best to submit a feature request:
