Using the pop-out on a Win11 multi-screen setup, the Firefox browser on one(1) specific screen results in the pop-out appearing well off screen. It can be moved back into view (it’s annoying).
Have removed the extension and reinstalled, and same screen continues with the problem. (Browser install is controlled at corp.)
Other installed browsers function normally.
I am thinking there must be a config file controlling this somewhere.
If you know where, I’ll thank you for me saving time searching for it.
If you know how to default/reset the pop-ups default location that would be helpful as well. (Maybe best answer.)
TIA

REF:
Hi, just struggling a bit this morning, I have been using BW for a few weeks now having switched from LP. One thing I used to do is have my vault open for sites that required multiple different credentials, there doesn’t seem to be that option in BW but I can click the little arrow to have it “pop out to a new window” - unfortunately when my browser is on screen 2 (the left of my main screen) the pop out disappears off the side of the screen, if I move my browser to screen 1 then click “pop out”…
Using the Bitwarden extension, since the extension upgrade, the feature to open a pop-up in a new window results in a window that I cannot see on the desktop.
Click on the Bitwarden icon.
Click “pop out to a new window” icon.
No window is visible.
In the task bar, Firefox shows the second window, but if I click on it, it does not appear on my desktop.
The only action I can perform is to close this window from the task bar.
This issue started when the extension was updated.
Have fully rebo…
@LQM Welcome to the forum!
Your issue sounds a lot like this recent “bug report” on GitHub:

bug
browser
### Steps To Reproduce
1. Log out of the Bitwarden extension or have it locked … with a PIN code
2. Have a triple monitor setup with one monitor above another and a third monitor tilted to portrait orientation on the right side - like this: https://i.imgur.com/aQswcO3.png
3. Open Firefox maximized on the top monitor
4. Go to a website and try to login by clicking the login field
5. Click the Bitwarden dropdown below the login field to login to Bitwarden, which opens a pop-up window from the Bitwarden extension
### Expected Result
I expected the pop-up window to open on top of the browser's window instead of on the right side next to it.
That's how it works in Chromium browsers. At least that's what happened when I tested it in the Brave browser.
### Actual Result
I quickly did this in Paint to demonstrate what it looks like, with the blue square being the Bitwarden login pop-up window: https://i.imgur.com/yafyso8.png
The pop-up window opens on the tilted monitor on the right side with most of the window being off-screen, including the top of the window. So I can't move it or close it directly without using keyboard shortcuts or closing it from the taskbar.
I tried moving the window with keyboard shortcuts and then placing it where I wanted, then closing it in the hopes that it would remember that position but it always opens in the same place.

- [ ] I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.
… but that was closed as it seems to be a “duplicate” of this:

### Steps To Reproduce
1. Go to any site that allows passkey login that you hav… e a saved passkey for.
2. Drag the window to a non-primary desktop screen.
3. Click on Sign in with Passkey
### Expected Result
Same result as launching it within a primary window, pops up in a small window on top of the screen you clicked "Sign in with passkey" for.
### Actual Result
Window is launching, however it launches in the background, unable to be interacted with or moved.

### Additional Context
This does NOT happen on Chrome when I tested another browser. When I move the window to a primary screen in Firefox, this works as expected, however it does not work in any non-"main" display.
It also could be related to HDMI vs DP inputs, as I tried a secondary monitor in HDMI and it works, but not any DisplayPort monitor.

If I understand it correctly, a scaling other than 100% plays a role in it…
