Make "Click items to autofill on Vault view" the default

Requires user to manually fix using the steps here ✅ Invert "Fill" and "View" on cards, on Desktop and Mobile Plugins
It should be pretty obvious, why would I want to VIEW when even the title says Autofill suggestions???
Please, make Click items to autofill on vault view ticked by default

How would this work for people who have already changed the defaults to what they prefer – in most cases, a mix of the old and new settings? Would the settings change out from under us again?

I think that has to start from BW’s current security posture, do they support autofill or not?

As Autofill suggestions still exists, it would appear to me that they are pro-autofill. Then why make it harder than before by shrinking Fill from full card click to a small button?

So, that led to my OP seeking for Click items to autofill on vault view to be ticked by default.

To answer you question from a perspective where I come from, there are 3 states:

Current

default(off)
user(on)
user(off)

Proposed

default(on)
user(on)
user(off)

If user has made an explicit decision, default won’t be used
Otherwise default is used, and it should be changed from OFF to ON

I just changed the title from “Make ‘fill’ as default when clicked” to “Make “Click items to autofill on Vault view” the default”, as it seems less ambiguous.
