Disable prompt to save pw when bitwarden is locked

With the new update, it now prompts you to update the password even if you are logged out.

Which versions did you update from/to? If the behavior is different from how it worked prior to the update, it may qualify as a bug, which you could report (as “New Issue”) on GitHub.

I know you keep saying everyone wants this feature, but all I see is people complaining about it.

I don’t think anybody has said that “everybody” wants it. Yet, the feature request to make it so did garner about 3 votes every 2 months (for a total of 52 votes in 3 years); in contrast, the feature request to reverse this behavior currently stands at only 4 votes total, after 18 months.

If you wish for Bitwarden to stop prompting when the extension is locked or logged out, then your best course of action is to support the relevant feature request:

When not logged in, Bitwarden still prompts to save passwords, which seems counter-intuitive. This used to confuse me because it’s almost always a site that I already know is saved. Because the browser also has login storage, I don’t often need to log into Bitwarden immediately. To sum up: I assert that Bitwarden should wait to be logged in before issuing any prompts.
