Crowdin translators: The authenticator project is being merged into the mobile project

I guess this means that there are no plans for porting the Authenticator to a desktop app or browser extension?

Should this notice (or a copy of this notice) be placed in Client Localization - Bitwarden Community Forums and/or in Authenticator - Bitwarden Community Forums?

It would just mean, that those lines would be included in the respective platform projects.

A comment has been added to the about post in the localization category. And a post will be added to the discussion area of the Crowdin project itself for anyone who was contributing there, and the project will be archived (since it is now part of mobile).

Not that surprising I think, as the authenticator app and mobile app were also “merged” into the same repository on GitHub (though separate for Android and iOS)…

If Bitwarden planned to offer an extension or desktop version of the Authenticator in the future, it would seem inefficient to have a whole separate set of localization strings for those non-mobile versions, and it would seem impractical to “unmerge” the Authenticator project from the Mobile project on Crowdin.

To me, this seems to imply that Bitwarden is now considering the Authenticator project to be restricted to mobile platforms…
