Credit Card's number Autofill still not working on Android 16

Hello, I’m facing the same credit card autofill issue since the feature appeared on Android last year. Whenever I open a web page asking for credit card details, or have an Android app asking for credit card details, the autofill refuse to work on the card number and owner’s name fields. The inline suggestions in the keyboard (or popup menu if this option is enabled) only appear when clicking in the CVV code field; but when I select the card it then only fills the CVV code, and not the other fields. Quick access tile doesn’t work either, it says “no password field detected”.

It makes me crazy, I always need to loose time returning to home screen, open Bitwarden, navigate to my credit card, select it, choose to copy the number, return to my app or browser, click in the field and paste the number.

I followed all recommendations found in the links below, without success.

I tested many web sites, many apps, and it won’t work. Why is it still not working ?!

@Adrien_B What browser are you using?

I did a short test on https://fill.dev/form/credit-card-simple and could fill all details there. (Android 15, BW mobile app 2026.4.2, Brave browser) – Does it work for you on that test site?

It sounds like a more general issue in your case, but just FYI, if it’s especially an issue with specific sites then you can always report those via this Google form (but I would add that it is an issue with “Card autofill” then): Report mobile autofill failure

It works on this test site. So why it doesn’t work elsewhere? It fails on all sites I tried, like for example laposte.fr, paybox.com, domadoo.fr, recharge.carrefour.fr, etc … is it field translation issues ?

I’m ok with reporting issue when one site fails, but I would spend my life creating reports.

I’m using latest Chrome on a Pixel 8 Pro running latest system updates, with latest BW mobile app.
