When creating a send using the “Share” feature in 3rd party apps, there is no indication on which account the share is created. It is not possible to switch accounts:
Share file to Bitwarden in some app
Create Send
Realize it was the wrong account
Open Bitwarden, switch accounts
Reopen app, find file again
Create Send
It would be great if Bitwarden would show which account I’m using in the create send dialog and provide an easy way to switch between multiple accounts.
I can reproduce that. – I can absolutely imagine, BW considering this as a “feature request”. But maybe it would be worth, to try to report it as an “UI/UX bug” - because with account switching (and max. 5 accounts being logged in), it is indeed confusing, when the UI doesn’t show the account that is currently active and used for the Send.
So, if you want to try it: GitHub · Where software is built (“New issue”) → but sell it as much as possible as a bug – and not as a new feature you’d like to have
