Can you use Bitwarden to have someone else (non-Bitwarden user) send you a username/password securely?

We use Bitwarden at our company to save credentials internally. At times, our clients send us credentials to provide access to their solutions and we need to receive them securely and save them securely. Is there a way to create a link where a client of ours could enter the credentials to send to us without having a paid Bitwarden account?

A feature that has been requested but isn’t currently available is that a secure text link could allow a response. That would allow you to send a secure message requesting the information and then for them to reply.

However, as it stands now, I do not think this is possible.

Hello, and welcome to the community!

From the “free” perspective, clients who have or can create a Bitwarden free account can use Bitwarden’s “Send” feature to send you a secure link.

There are still other companies that allow a secure link to be created and sent without an account, including password managers.

@Abby_Memmesheimer Welcome to the forum!

No, unfortunately not possible at the moment.

Here the open feature request to that, if you want to join in there: Receive files, passwords, or notes from non-Bitwarden users (Reverse Send)
