Steps To Reproduce

When opening the account settings menu with no vault timeout action set, a warning will display each time regardless if it was last dismissed

Expected Result

Account settings menu should open without interruptions only one time and remember if last dismissed. It is not the role of my password manager to be my personal “Security Nazi” that nags me over and over about my preferences. A warning just one time is sufficient.

Actual Result

When opening the account settings menu with no vault timeout action set, a warning will display each time regardless if it was last dismissed.

FYI, the repeated warnings that you’ve seen was not some attempt to police your behavior, but merely a bug that was inadvertently introduced in the June release, when Bitwarden reconfigured the organization of the settings section.

The bug was fixed in version 2024.7.1, which was released 2 weeks ago. Thus, I would recommend updating your browser extension.
