when Bitwarden creates a new password for 'forgot password' form the vault isn't updated

Using the ‘forgot password’ form at virtually any website, Bitwarden will automatically suggest a new password, and fill the confirmation field. Saving the password changes it with the website, but the Bitwarden vault is NOT updated.

Is this a bug or is it by design? I constantly forget to manually update the vault and have to go through the process twice.

Suggested Password Not Saved

Zeb, I feel your pain but you didn’t do anything wrong, The extension only has focus when your interacting with it so when jump back to the logon page the extension terminates. At a minimum you need to copy the password immediately as the password stays in the copy buffer even if you close tthe extension without saving and you can reopen the extension and paste it to the password field. Cant tell you how many times I’ve had to repaste.

which appears to suggest this is, if not by design, at least not unexpected behavior. Ah well.
