Yes its a classy flounce, but I am at my whits end with bitwarden and it kills me. I loved how it allowed us to have our own servers etc but in recent months the quality of this software has literally fallen off a cliff, mainly on mac.
Constant need to re-enter master password, even though I am set to biometrics. Same on iPhone. This is the main issue, right when I just need to get sh*t done, its master password time, which obviously I have made complicated, making this a tedious step.

Having to click a bloody button to even get biometrics to be an option each and every time
The point in my mind to software like this is to remove barriers to people having complicated passwords, but bitwarden has become such a PITA to use, its having the opposite affect.
I am going to try apple passwords for a while, that has its issues as well but we will see.
@garethsnaim I can’t speak for your biometrics problems with MacOS/iOS as I don’t use those systems.
Only thing is, that the latests desktop version (2024.9.0) could mitigate at least the “newest” problems.
Especially with the new native mobile app, it seems that some problems with that could be resolved with an update to the latest server version (if not already done).
If it is too painful, there’s no harm in seeking alternatives.
