lag associated with the Google Chrome extension has not.

That has been affecting some users even in versions that predate the UI “refresh”. Per a comment from a Bitwarden employee, we can anticipate a fix:

Hi everyone, this is a known bug affecting some community members. Will be fixed in an an upcoming Chrome update. In the meantime, you can try Canary to resolve the issue.
