Two computers one logs in the other does not

sending a problems is NOT easy here! My problem is that I have one computer I could log into and another I could not with the same password. I have now changed my password and wonder if that will even work. I have no idea about what is wrong. Is there a way to make sure that when I goto, and open the bitwarden that it has the latest as far as my vault is concerned? Your looney thing just told me I had to choose 3 tags. I just clicked it and it said 1 tag. This is NOT easy! Now it says 1 from operating, what is operating and how do I get there?

Hello! I have cleaned up some extraneous text from your post, and I will try to help you with the forum tags. But to do so (and for us to be able to assist with your issue), I will need the following information from you:

  1. I assume that this is in regards to an issue with the Bitwarden Password Manager, and not with the 2FA (TOTP) Authenticator app for mobile devices, but if you could confirm this, that would be great. Upon your confirmation, I will move your post into the appropriate section of the forum.
  2. On your computers, what operating systems are running (e.g., Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.)?
  3. On a computer, the Bitwarden Password Manager vault can be accessed using either a Desktop App or using a Browser Extension installed as an add-on to a web browser, or via the Web Vault app that can be accessed as a website in your browser. Which of these methods are you using to access your Bitwarden vault?
  4. Have you set up your own, self-hosted Bitwarden Server to connect to with the Bitwarden apps on your computers, or do you use the Bitwarden apps to log in to an account hosted on Bitwarden’s cloud servers (bitwarden.com or bitwarden.eu)? If your account is on a Bitwarden cloud server, which of the two servers did you register your account on (bitwarden.com or bitwarden.eu)?

Please provide your responses to the above four questions.

How do I download my vault before its lost

How to download my bitwarden vault before its lost

Hello again — there is no need to start multiple topics; I moved your second post into your original thread.

If you still need assistance with these issues, please provide the information that I had requested above.

On the machine you can’t login: did you choose the correct Bitwarden server region (US/.com vs. EU/.eu)? They are not interchangeable, so if your BW account is e.g. on the US server region, a login attempt to the EU region will fail.

Just as a general response: two good places to look for more information on that are:

And for transparency: I changed your @jgw0 tags before for your OP, as I saw you couldn’t possibly mean the Bitwarden authenticator app. It would indeed help if you answered @grb’s questions to get a better idea of what you were asking for.
