"Tab" view is gone after UI redesign. Way to get it back?

I found the Tab view from the main browser extension view very helpful cause I see the login for the tab I’m on and I have easy access to my Credit Card and Identity. Now I see all my logins (which don’t apply to the tab I’m in) and I have to actively work to bring up my credit card and identity views. This seems like an efficiency nightmare and not very user friendly.

is there a way to bring Tab view back?

In the new “Vault” view, under “Autofill Suggestions”, it still shows all login items that have a URI match to the browser tab that is open.

Credit card items and identity items are also supposed to appear in the “Autofill Suggestions” area, but only when Bitwarden detects that the open browser tab contains a form that has input fields for payment or identity information, respectively. Unfortunately, this detection is not perfect, so sometimes the card and identity items will not be displayed.

A work-around (unless you wish to roll back to version 2024.11.2) would be to make the cards and identities “favorites”.

Only by uninstalling the new version and sideloading the last good version of the extension:

@grb, thanks for your insights. I have gone ahead and added credit card etc to favorites but still think the old Tab setup was superior. It was less cluttered and presenting what I needed for where I am at on the internet.

I don’t understand why a UI redesign was authorized. Nothing was wrong with the old UI from my experience.

There was a lot of user pressure to somehow “modernize” the UI, which I’m sure played into the decision to embark on a redesign. I have previously posted about why I think the redesign process went sideways:
