I’ve been usign the Bitwarden mobile app for a while now and it seems to me that the current interface design is outdated and unpolished. I decided to update the look and feel of the app. The goal was to give the app a new look and minimize the interface to it’s core functions to enhance the user experience.
Just for the record I think the mobile app of Bitwarden just need a little bit of retouch. And if you take a look at my new concept of the mobile app, you can see how big of an improvement that it makes.
I really want to see Bitwarden mobile app with modernized UI/UX. If you want to work on the concept that I make and work on it with together, I’m here all for help.
I liked this design more then the current one. It looks pretty awesome. And it’s way more easier to use the application. Can’t wait to see Bitwarden with this one.
Hey, can you also create one or two concepts of the main screen(the screen which asks you to create an account/login/sso). I am not a fan of that particular layout, it just looks to squarish and plain.
From what I understand, people hate major design changes or overhauling the entire interface with like a single update. Yes, bitwarden does need a redesign but I believe that the UI should be tweaked slowly. If Bitwarden were to force everyone to use the new design, there would be a lot of hate. So I believe, its best to implement changes in several phases. For example, the new Firefox browser(GeckoView), a lot of people were angry at Mozilla for the overhaul.
This is just my view. Everything is in the hands of the company.
I like it a lot. I would also like to see a search field at the top of the vault, like 1Password does. This eliminates the need for extra taps to bring up and enter into the search field. Thanks.
