Hi,
I’m not sure where we are with this as it has been too long. I will say that the title is NOT what I requested.*
I do not wish to move the password generator to the password field, EXCEPT UNDER SPECIFIC SITUATIONS.
When the Web site will not accept the auto-generated password for reasons such as it is too long, too short, contains unacceptable characters, then I want something, just as it works in lastpass, to appear at the location of the password field so that I may alter the generated password in such a way so as to make it acceptable to the Web site.
That’s it. That’s all I requested. Other than that, I’m not requesting any other kind of change.
If people would just install lastpass, go to a site to create an account, put in a password that you know will not be accepted, and watch what happens. Without moving your eyeballs in the least you can watch yourself modify the generated password to fit the requirements of the Web site, because it all happens at the password field.
For anyone to whom this is not crystal clear, I will gladly send you my cell number so that we can communicate in a way that will bestow understanding. Thanks.
*Mod Note: This comment has been moved from another feature request topic (“Open full generator from within inline password menu”), where it did not belong. Thus, the “title” referenced in the first paragraph of this comment is the title of that other feature request topic.
