I can not login to vault.bitwarden.com on IOS

After updating Vivaldi to the current version this problem is no longer present.

Updated title from “I can not login”
to “I can not login to vault.bitwarden.com on IOS”
and added the tag “os:ios”.

Please let me know if you object or have a better subject. Just hoping to keep the topic focused on this one login failure.

Do you know when they are going to release version 2025.1.0 for vault.bitwarden.com? The EU portal is already upgraded to the last version.

I found the source of the problem; it was because of the ad blockers. Sorry, everyone, if I bothered you guys. When I was disabling ad blockers from inside Safari, it didn’t fix the issue, but when I disabled them directly from settings → Safari, it solved the problem. Because vault.bitwarden.eu was working fine before all of this, I didn’t suspect that I should change Safari’s settings from inside of the settings app. After, I still don’t know how Safari’s ad blockers affected other browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Vivaldi, or even Brave.

The issue is solved for me for now

I guess, US server and web vault should also be updated by now. (probably you even saw the announcement also)

Last night .com was still on 2024.12.1; today, it is 2025.1.0.

FWIW, the version is displayed at the bottom of the login screen:

Yes, thanks! But that is the web vault version only. I never dug deeper the last weeks if there is an easy way to see the server version? (besides e.g. “About” in a browser extension - especially as I have my account only on one server region )

Like @Palermo, I had noticed yesterday that the com web vault was 2024.12.1 although eu was 2025.1.0. This struck me as somewhat odd, given the maintenance window included both. Today, the versions match. Either maintenance occurred outside the window, or my browser cache was interfering.

I believe @Palermo was asking about the web vault. It is the rare user that would care about the API version beyond if it is compatible with their client. Plus, the prior portions of the topic were regarding logging into the web vault. Don’t know a way to see the “server version” through the web vault, but per my browser extension, it is currently 2025.01.2.

Ok, I take my word back it wasn’t because of Adblockers; the new version fixed my issue. I didn’t notice they updated their web vault until now that you sent this screenshot.

After all, a good thing is that it’s fixed.
and an ad blocker can’t affect other browsers installed on the phone, so it was a bug in a prior version or something like it.

This is why I didn’t experience this issue in the EU version. it had a newer version. I was wrongfully blaming poor ad blockers.

Thanks for you Palermo (“After all, a good thing is that it’s fixed.”) not letting loose on this topic! Can confirm it is fixed with the new Firmware 2025.10
(Palermo had a very nice and tricky workaround!)
