How to turn off automatic login after autofill?

Hi,

When I fill out the login form, I’m logged in immediately. Is there a way to turn this off?
I just want to fill it out and then click “Login.”

Your title say “after fill”, and here you wrote “when I fill” – so is autofill involved here or not?

And do you mean to log in to the BW iOS app itself?

Or are you talking about using autofill from the iOS app on whatever site you want to log in to?

Hm, I doubt there even is a setting for this.

Not helpful now for your issue – just thinking aloud – honestly, I’m confused that the iOS app seems to behave this way.

  • I don’t see it on Android. → a username/password doesn’t submit “Log in” automatically
  • only passkeys work that way on Android (–> after you chose the correct one, it logs in automatically)
  • for the browser extensions, it even is a long-standing feature request to have automatic submit after an autofill action: Automatically submit login form on auto-fill (and here again, when using passkeys with the inline autofill menu, that also automatically “logs in”)
