Give ability to change default URI field names

Currently, adding new URI fields creates new fields with default “URI 1” “URI 2” etc. names. These names should be editable if I have multiple saved URIs with different specific purposes.

It’s strange that this feature doesn’t exist for URI fields when it does exist for other field types.

I agree. This and the obfuscated URIs make it impossible to discern which URI the user is launching without going into Edit mode.
