First, I changed your topic to “Ask the Community”, as a “Feature Request” requires to be about more or less one thing only (because otherwise it becomes unclear what a “vote” would possibly mean).

Below are the main issues I have encountered here. All points have been raised by others as well:

I guess, you are aware of some of the existing feature requests then, but for overview, I try to point some of them out now as well.

1. Importing: Because I use two password managers, importing into Bitwarden is complicated. Currently, the only option is to import into a folder. It would be much more effective to allow the creation of an additional vault for imported items. This would help with testing and organizing data before merging.

I’m not sure I really get that point - maybe you could elaborate a bit more? If you create an extra “import” folder, you e.g. can bulk move items later via the web vault out of it. In what way would a “second vault” be different here?

2. Drag and drop: The interface does not support drag and drop, which makes reorganizing entries much more difficult than necessary.

3. Automatic deletion of trash: Items in the trash are permanently deleted after 30 days, and there is no option to disable this behavior. When sorting or reviewing a large number of items, I need more time. A user-defined retention period or even better a manual deletion option would be helpful.

4. Viewing attachments There is no way to filter or display all attachments at once. A dedicated view or filter would make it easier to manage and review stored files.

I’m not a great fan of the search as well - and I guess, there indeed is no option to just list all attachments. (As far as I see, there is no existing feature request for that.)

But it is possible to filter all items with attachments via this “command” in the search field: >attachments:*

5. SSH key folder visibility I do not use SSH keys and would prefer to hide the related folder. There should be an option to show or hide unused sections for a cleaner interface.

There is a feature request for that: Ability to disable / hide / toggle item types (e.g. if not in use)

6. Notes field usability When entering longer notes in an item, the field becomes difficult to navigate because scrolling is required. An auto-expanding field would improve usability.

I’m a bit unsure about at the moment… there is this open GitHub issue, and if you look into the comments, on the desktop app it was there (I can’t remember - don’t use the desktop app that often…) and is now gone again - maybe a bug/regression. But it could be, that it will be fixed/implemented again and also be implemented in the other BW apps too?!?

7. Custom icons Many entries display a default placeholder icon. Although this is often due to missing favicons on the website, there should be an option to upload custom icons manually.

8. Theming options The current themes are visually straining. Allowing user-defined themes or the use of custom CSS (like what Proton did in the early days) would greatly enhance the visual experience.

I’m not sure, if there already is a feature request about customizing the theme using “custom CSS”, though…

9. Price adjustment: The subscription price increased from 10 to 11.90 dollars, but I only noticed this by chance. It would be more transparent to inform users in advance about pricing changes.

I recognized this as well… And I wouldn’t disagree about more transparency.
