Excessive Master Password Prompts

I want to view card information on my android Bitwarden app. I open it and unlock it via Biometrics or Master Password. I go to view the card information and I am immediately asked for the master password again. This behavior happens on the chrome extension as well.

I do not understand why I must enter my master password twice to view my information.

This is excessive and annoying. This is unfriendly user design. Please fix this or suggest to me a setting I must be overlooking to prevent this unwanted behavior.

I’m not exactly sure about your description, but I think there are two possibilities:

1. You either checked the option “Master password re-prompt” in your card item (in “Additional options” in “Edit item” view) without wanting or needing it. Then, just deactivate that option again for that vault item.

2. But if you intentionally enabled “Master password re-prompt” and do want to continue using it, then you probably want to join this feature request: Master Password Re-Prompt -- configurable grace-period
