It used to, but now never detects a credit card field as something it needs to autofill.
This is true on Edge on Desktop and Edge on Android, latest versions of both.
Other things are autofilled correctly.
You can autofill credit card information either using the browser extension’s Tab view, using the right-click context menu, using the inline autofill menu (overlayed on the input field), or using a user-defined keyboard shortcut.
