Change Default Search to Wildcard Rather Than Exact Match

We’d like to request that there is a setting to turn on full wildcard searches for all fields by default, without having to enter wildcard symbols (generally referring to the web application and browser extension). For example if we search “gmail”, we’d like it to search for all instances of the string “gmail” including “gmail.com” or “johndoe@gmail.com”, in all fields (including notes).

We use a ton of notes fields in our organization, and having to remember and type in wildcard symbols with every search is a pain. If we could have an organization or individual account setting to use wildcard serach by default, it would be incredibly helpful.

My forum account is yet to be given any votes to spend, so in the absence of those, I can only agree with this take 100%

Please do not add simple “I agree” or “+1” replies as stated in the community guidelines. I just read a topic with about 250 replies and it felt like two thirds of those were “+1” and “We need this”.
