Let me add that there is no such issue with the older non-native version from the Play Store (2024.10.0). Any ideas whatâs going on here? Maybe a bug ?
Hey there, at 15 seconds, can you try toggling on the âBitwarden Shortcutâ in addition to the top toggle?
Hi.
Tried it. It still doesnât work. Here is a new video
Thanks for confirmation, can you open a support ticket using the contact form here so the team can investigate? Help Center | Bitwarden
Thanks. I just opened a ticket.
So I did what you guys told me:
Will you first try uninstalling the application, resetting your device (Power Off/On) and re-installing? Does this issue still persist?
But the issue persists.
It seems more people are starting to have the same problem

I am having the same issue. Unable to toggle on the âUse accessibilityâ option under BW > Settings > Autofill. Bitwarden is properly authorized in my Android Accessibility settings. My device is a Samsung S24 Ultra, for what itâs worth.
Thanks for the update, please be sure to follow up on the ticket with your findings and the team will continue to look into it.

I may be totally wrong here - but I think I have âheardâ, that for the quick-tiles to work properly, the Bitwarden app must be installed from the Google PlayStore.
If you go on Android into the Settings â Apps â Bitwarden, it should look like this:
If you installed from GitHub previously, chances are, that your browser is mentioned there, instead of the Google PlayStore. - Then, deinstalling the app completely, reboot, and reinstalling it from the PlayStore might help, so that Android âseesâ that the Bitwarden app is from PlayStore again (and not âsideloadedâ from GitHub)âŚ
Thanks for your feedback.
As I have stated at my first post, I have tried with both the Play Store (beta channel) 2025.1.0 version and the F-Droid 2025.1.0 version.
The stable 2025.1.0 has not yet been released yet in my case (duo to that slow gradual rollout) at Play Store.
So, you couldnât check it with the stable 2025.1.0, installed from PlayStore, for nowâŚ
Did you check it now? - Because for me, it seems now even available if you go to the site of the store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.x8bit.bitwarden&hl=en), so I would think, it is now released for everyone?!
My copy was sourced from the Play Store. Same issues as OP.
Yeah if you go to Play Store via the web you see this, but when launching play store via my phone it still gives me the old version.
Will check again later today
UPDATE:
I uninstalled the F-droid version, I rebooted the device and installed from Play Store. At last I managed to get the stable native version 2025.1.0 !
BUT the bug is still there. This has not been resolved.
Another report about this bug:

Yep Can confirm same quick tile issue. This version, 25.1.0 flashes a âNo password fields detectedâ warning, after filling in the the password from the inline auto fill keyboard.
Weâre looking into this one, thanks for sharing additional detail, and for your patience!
Having the same issue as the first poster.
version: Play store, 2025.1.0, Moto S30 pro, MyUI6.0, Android 14.
Tried many times, including using the accessibility shortcut.
