Bitwarden Updated Password Incorrectly

Hi all,

I recently created a new password and agreed with Bitwarden’s prompt to update it. However, it input an entirely different password.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Should I be worried? I think the site I was logging into is undergoing maintenance and trying to determine how this could happen.

Any insight is sincerely appreciated!

Hi,
if this is a one off issue, I would address it to some human error.
Try it again with a new password and see if it occurs again.
There is an off chance that a site has another field that poses as password field.
