Archive Feature - Bulk Operations

As the title suggests, currently the only bulk operations that appear to be supported for vault items are Add To Folder, Assign To Collections, and Delete. I am requesting that Archive and Unarchive be added to the list of bulk operations permissible for items.

This feature would save a lot of time for people who are trying to clean up and organize their vaults, especially business organizations who manage thousands of credentials at any given time and have the necessity to periodically audit and clean up their organization’s vault.

Doing this operation one at a time, with a confirmation dialog each time, is exhausting at scale.

+1 I honestly feel like it’s embarrassing to even have to ask for this. It’s basic UX design. It should’ve been in there from day one.

I think there is something else to append here: I just saw the recent newsletter blurb noting that the archive feature works on a per-user basis, which again is not helpful for organizational or team management purposes.

I hate to be the guy saying “thanks for the new feature, now do it over,” but as currently implemented there are some things lacking here that make this feature truly useful beyond a solo user scenario.

@gsm I just found an older feature request (before archiving was made a feature now at all), which might fit in here:

Teams/Enterprise: Don't allow permanent deletion. Archive it (items)!

I don’t feel very decisive right now – and have to look into it in more detail – but I could imagine, to update its wording a bit to explicitly make it about “Archiving on an organizational level”.
