I’ve been using Biwarden for many years now and for some reason the appearance is different on Edge than it is any of the other browsers I use and this changed only recently happened.
All of the browsers would display bitwarden as seen below
Now for some reason Edge now display as seen in the follow up post(only able to upload one photo per post) with only the 4 icons located at the bottom and it no longer autofills.
I have checked all of the settings for each and they are identical and I have no idea why this change occurred. Can someone please tell me how to change it back?

The change in appearance happened because your browser extensions were automatically updated from version 2024.11.2 to version 2024.12.0 (which includes a redesigned UI).
You cannot disable the new UI, unless you revert your browser extension to an older version and prevent automatic updates.
If you are having trouble with the new UI, you might consider posting feedback in the following thread:
In Firefox, you can go to about:addons and open the extension management page for the Bitwarden Password Manager, where you will be able to set “Allow automatic updates” to “Off”. The Firefox App Store for browser add-ons also has a Version History page where you can download older versions.
You can also download the old version of the extension for all supported browsers directly from Bitwarden’s GitHub repository. However, these extensions are not “signed” (i.e., they are not the versions that are available in the browser app stores), which means that you need to use a process called “side-loading” to install any browser extension that you downloaded directly from GitHub. The process for side-loading differs in different browsers, and many browsers do not allow it. Here are instructions for Edge:
The same thing happened to me in Edge yesterday.
However, today, Edge is showing the older interface.
The bitwarden extension required a login again this morning.
I did not restart my edge browser overnight and my computer was on all night. It does not sleep.
I don’t mind the change, however I would appreciate that the interface would not change everyday.
The version number is 2024.12.1
Seeing this screenshot makes me miss the old UI. It looked so much better before. Nice, clean, simple. The new UI is terrible. They made it “modern”? It looks like a cartoon and every time I open the extension, I just want to close it as quickly as possible.
I also replied to your first reply and you replied to that post with your second post, yet my reply no longer appears. Where did it go?
I also posted in the thread you posted for feedback and it has been deleted. Why?
Why does it now say that thread will be closed if there are no replies within the next hour? If that happens I’m done with Bitwarden.
I’m now seeking another password manager because I saw all of the new replies in that thread and I’m pretty sure the people that should be reading it aren’t so it isn;t feedback, it’s more of a rant thread.
Thanks for the clarity and it is the solution for updates on Firefox.
If you"re not a paid employee of Bitwarden then my appreciation is 100x because you should be! I think it is ridiculous that all of these new tech companies do not provide any customer service and should not be tolerated by anyone!
Looks like you did not actually go to about:addons in your Firefox browser as suggested, but instead went to Settings > About in your Bitwarden browser extension. Seems like @Nail1684 already clarified this for you.
Neither this thread nor the UI feedback thread have any notice about automatic closing of the thread. Such notices normally appear when a post in the Ask the Community section is marked as “ Solved” by the OP.
I don’t know why you have comments that have been deleted. It could be a technical glitch in the forum platform, or it could be that a forum admin has removed one or more comments that were deemed to violate the Community Guidelines on respectful and constructive communication.
For the record, like @Nail1684, I am just a Bitwarden user/customer like you, and I am not employed or otherwise paid by Bitwarden. I do volunteer as a community moderator on the forum, but my powers are very limited and do not include the ability to remove comments. I also don’t have access to any forum administration logs that might show when/why comments were removed.
One thing I am able to do is to close and re-open threads, so if there is ever a thread that you feel has been closed prematurely, please DM me and I can see about re-opening the thread for further comments.
