When i click signin and with imdb account bitwarden dosnet show up? I have enabled all autofill options i can on my Samsung S24.
Then i go into bitwarden and find my imdb login credentials. The uri is www.imdb.com.
I can see that the uri to sign in starts with https://m.imdb.com.
I tryed diffrent match settings but it dosent show the bitwarden login?
What can i try? My wife is mad
I also have thees 2 sites
1: Tabulex a old site for my kids SFO. When i click the saved credentials it dosent autofill it.
2: A chrome webclip for my Unraid server. Cant get bitwarden to show?
I will say it’s been many, many months ever since the redesign that autofill has never worked for the Brave Browser no matter what is checked, no matter the reinstalling, no matter if it was the beta app or not. Thought it seems to work for non browser applications.
In the latest version of the mobile app (2025.5.0) I indeed have an option in Settings → Autofill which seems to be relatively new (and I think, the browsers changed something here on Android - and that is a reaction to that):
Yes off course Sorry about that
When you hit “Use Chrome autofill integration” you get 2 options Google pw manager or another.
I selected with another service and then all breaks
Ah. – Hm, I don’t have experience with these new settings myself… it sounds like “Autofill with another service” should be right. But for that to work, in Android Settings → Passwords, Passkeys and Accounts, Bitwarden has to be chosen as an “Autofill service”. Is that the case with your Android phone?
Hm, maybe @dwbit can clarify those new Android settings?!
(I only have an Android 14 device, which doesn’t even have third-party passkey support yet, so that might not be comparable to a S24 on Android 15…)
I’m able to successfully autofill on IMDB using all the autofill methods, but please contact the official support team if you’re experiencing otherwise so they can look into it further: Help Center | Bitwarden
Assuming "Daniel-PT (Reddit) and @DanielT are the same person: on Reddit, your original post says “Edit: Solved” - so, could you share the solution?
@dwbit Could you say something to this new option in the Android mobile app:
… and if you choose that option, I think Android/Chrome asks if you want to 1. use autofill with Google/Chrome or 2. use autofill with another service. (very likely, option 2 should be chosen, right? → PS: I guess that’s what is meant by “enable third-party autofill” in the info text of the Android app)
(I think, this option wasn’t even visible in your new video about Android autofill )
I’m on version 2025.5.0. This option does not exist for me
Autofill Services - Enabled
Use inline autofill - Enabled
Use accessibility
Copy TOTP automatically
I don’t know what on earth they are doing to where two apps on the same version get different experiences without a notice to why if it’s necessary.
