I am able to log in now. So what was happening when I was entering the correct e-mail and password and being told my password was wrong? Should I be concerned? Unfortunately Bitwarden does not allow me to see sign in activity. In my opinion it should show clearly and easily successful and failed login attempts.
Usually, the most common explanation is the server location (3rd line from the bottom) is incorrect for your account. Bitwarden has US and EU clouds, and you have to select the right one. If you use VPN, maybe the default location would shift depending on where the VPN server is.
I can log in fine.
ps: You are already using Keepass which can import Bitwarden’s .json file directly. You can re-create a Keepass replica of Bitwarden (except for the attachments) in a jiffy.

Very good to know. Love that feature.
Regarding the server location, that wasn’t the issue. The most likely explanation is the server was having issues for a few minutes. I did use the correct the URL, correct e-mail, correct password, so no other explanation than something beyond my control.
With a crucial security product like this I’m always vigilant/concerned about some kind of malware/compromise/attack. After all, my Bitwarden credentials provide access to everything else.
I can sympathize. I am more obsessed with Bitwarden than any other software I’ve ever used, to the point of feeling unhealthy about it.
Some people suggest not using the web vault much, presumably because it can incorporate unintended changes more easily than the apps/extensions. This feels true and iffy at the same time, because usually, the advice for checking the integrity of you vault is to log into the web vault. Or maybe the software on your own machine is guaranteed to be a bit more static than BW’s web software? Oh, well, enough obsession for today.
Just went to the web vault to create a new backup. Wasn’t expecting to have any difficulties. Otherwise I use either the desktop app or the browser extensions. Really glad knowing I can import the encrypted JSON into KeePassXC, which is what I did. Very good way to back up the database. Now I know if anything happens to Bitwarden I still have full access to my credentials.
