I share a comp and an account with my business partner.
In that account we can both unlock bitwarden with our fingerprint.
However, I want bitwarden in chrome to only be unlockable with my fingerprint. Not his.
That’s like possible right?

@susantohardjoko Welcome to the forum!
… you both share an account for what? – Do you mean the Windows account? Or a Bitwarden account (which BTW would not be permitted by Bitwarden’s Terms of Service)?
As already noted by @Nail1684, the Terms of Service do not allow more than one person to use the same Bitwarden account, so you and your business partner need to set up separate accounts. You can still use the same computer, and have both of your accounts simultaneously logged in (switching between the accounts depending on who is using the computer).
If you need to share passwords, you should set up an Organizations Overview | Bitwarden; in most cases, a free organization should be sufficient, so there would be no extra cost.
@grb I believe the poster is saying they are sharing a Windows account, but want Bitwarden to only be unlocked by their fingerprint.
Anyways, no that’s not possible. Bitwarden leverages Microsoft’s Windows-Hello API, and that API is bound to the Windows account. It’s not possible to have finer grained separation here, so any fingerprint that unlocks the Windows account will also unlock Bitwarden.
@Quexten Thank you for the clarification, and Merry Christmas! ![]()
