I keep records of my old cards for a few years, this is often useful when having multiple subscriptions.
It is visually difficult to quickly find the cards that are active now, especially if you have 4 cards issued by the same bank, and only 1 or 2 of them are active, and the other ones are expired.
I simple visual indication with an icon would solve the problem and would help to cognitively recognise the active cards quickly without going through each one.
To add a single “if” when rendering a card entry and to grey its rectangle should be a very difficult task. Please can you make this UI actually useful and practical.
I would add a visual indication when not only expired but when a card is marked inactive. This would require a way to manually “de-active” a card in the interface. So automatically marked inactive if the expiration date is passed along with a way to mark lost or deactivated cards because of fraud. It would be nice if, de-active cards did not automatically show up in the default interface of the browser extension.
