Since the 2022.5.0 version was installed on the Google Chrome web browser, it automatically logs out constantly. It does not matter if you close the browser or not. It will log out and the “Congratulations” Bitwarden web page will pop up again.
Hey @HPatrick I’ve not come across this in Chrome, can you try removing and reinstalling the browser extension?
I tried removing and reinstalling the browser extension yesterday and I thought that may have stopped it but it eventually logged out on me again. I did not close the browser at all. I will try with some different security settings today to see if that makes any difference.
Thanks for checking! You may also want to try reinstalling Chrome itself (I know Firefox has a refresh setting for example)
Are you running many other browser extensions? You could also try disabling them to check for interference.

Thanks for your insight. I have reinstalled both the Chrome browser and the bitwarden extension now and changed the Vault timeout setting to “on system lock”. So far it appears to be working normally.
