Verification code not working on a new OS!

I have installed new OS on a new HDD in my PC and try to login to my Bitwarden. I sends me verification code in the email and I type it but it keeps saying it’s wrong! I tried resending it multiple times and yes I type those numbers correct but it still says it’s wrong! Without password manager I am pretty much screwed!

Only had to wait few hours, then I tried it in MS Edge and it worked. Then I tried in my main browser FireFox and it works too… Devs might want to check what was the problem and why is it unreliable!

I’m not saying that developers shouldn’t look into this; this is one of the problems with 2FAs that they have to send you something. Remember the issue that went on for days with Twitter not sending SMS 2FA? I generally distrust email 2FA for this reason—not because it can be intercepted (tech companies usually encrypt them) or because the provider can read it, but because of not enough love.

I’d consider using TOTP, recovery codes, and proper backups (which can be imported into a KeePass database) should the above scenario happen again in the future for whatever reason.
