User Interface icons shows as boxes

"User Interface icons doesn’t display properly, doesn´t matter how many times I uninstall and install newer versions.

The only way for them to appear is to press Ctrl + Shift + R each time you open the program.

any idea on how to fix this?

Windows 10 desktop, latest version

Noticed that if you run the program as admin the issue is fixed, anyone knows why does it happens?
