Use of Recovery Key

Hello,

When a recovery key is used it will disable 2FA on an account. Does this also mean it deletes that recovery key ? When 2FA is established is a new recovery key generated ? Thanks in advance.

When 2FA is established is a new recovery key generated ?

The recovery key is one-time-use only. However, a new key will be available (in the Web Vault) immediately, even before you re-enable any Two-Step Login method.

In addition, you should be aware that until you have re-enabled at least one Two-Step Login method, you will be subject to the the New Device Verification requirement.
