URGENT? No folders/blank folder list in latest Windows client

I’ve just upgraded to the latest Bitwarden Windows client 2023.12.0 and I thought I’d LOST all my folders of which I have many… fortunately, they don’t seem to have been deleted from the vault - they’re still visible in the browser extension, on the web and on the mobile app. If you try and edit an entry, the folder is also blank and the drop down is empty.

My laptop is still running 2023.9.3 and that’s okay.

Logging out and back in resolved this - phew! I did raise it on Github but it was instantly closed as not a bug which is strange as it was clearly a bug…

I’ve had this happen a couple of times and am actually having it right now.
This is happening with version 205.3.0. So if this was a bug-fix in 2023, it appears to have regressed!

The last time this happened, I created a new folder. And after creating a new folder, suddenly all of my other folders showed up again.

I’m leaving this instance “in-state” just in case anyone wants/needs more info.

Welp, despite intending to leave this in-state, I decided to manually sync my vault. After doing this, my folders showed up again.

I think there’s still a bug somewhere…
