Unable to login to BW extension on Safari

Ive been using BW on Safari ( > 8TB shh) without problems. I enabled 2FA with Google Authenticator.
It worked for 3+ major macOS releases ( Mojave, Catalina, BigSur ). After updating to Monterrey, Ive been aLSO using BW with Safari till today.

Started Safari, clicked on BW extension, on login prompt entered login ( email ) + master pass; enter, and this:

Same action on vault
On other browsers ( Vivaldi, Brave, pure Chrome ) visiting vault and entrering my login credentials brings me to enter 2FA code screen.

What may be the reason?

Have you checked to make sure your Premium membership has not lapsed? It happens… :slight_smile:

Yes, all paid up.

Currently, I got it all sorted.

How it should be?

  • Open Safari
  • Click on BW extension icon,
  • Enter mail + pass + 2FA code
  • Being offered to fill pass on selected webpage;
  • Voila

How it iwas?

  • Open Safari
  • Click on BW extension icon,
  • Enter mail + pass
  • Being shown image from #1

What steps were taken?

  • Uninstalled both Safari BW extension and standalone app;
  • Installed it again,
  • Done. It magically worked again.
